My Thoughts:
When I first saw this series on TV, it was not translated in English and I had no idea what was going on, because it was also near the middle of the series. However, it was so appealing to me that I wanted to purchase this series as soon as I could with or without English translation, because I was that taken by the drama and comedy going on, not to mention the artwork. When I finally did come across it later on, I got the whole complete DVD set of the series right off the bat >_>. I think the plot really draws you in and you will be stuck to it until you see it to the end. This series has all of the things you can find in a good title, so most fans of all genres will enjoy this one, especially Shoujo fans. The characters are very unique and some can be an instant favorite. Not to mention, the comedy scenes are also hilarious and full of variety.

The only reason the music didn't get a perfect 5 is because sometimes some of the background music could get overplayed or maybe just the choice of instruments just didn't fit well with certain things, but that only happens in a few scenes. The animation may also change style a little later on in the series, making it obvious that there are different animators throughout the series, but it's probaly due to the series length. However, I really liked the English dub for this series, because they chose a great cast for the characters.

Since this show was very popular with fans, they made 3 OVA series that continued from the TV series. Even though the OVAs don't compare to the actual series, it does reveal much more about the characters' pasts and introduce new plots. However, I think the TV series itself ended well, so I would recommend it more than the OVAs.

My Final Opinion: This is a wonderfully addicting series, which will always be a great classic on my list. One of Yuu Watase's most popular works that shouldn't be missed if you're a fan of Shoujo anime!
